I had more meals at Walter’s then I can recall! The staff is really really friendly and they always try to make you feel welcome. I know many people avoid hotel restaurants simply because they don’t always find good price quality. But this is not the case at all. I tend to love the fish of the day option (they’ve now replaced the menu so that fish is always served with fries, so if you want so swap them by vegetables or something else let them know – can’t understand fries and grilled fish for example). They also have Tuesdays steak night where you can get a rib eye for 15 and the meat tends to be really tasty. Most of the times I go there it’s really quiet so can really read a book while I wait. Also recommend the mussels with tatchers sauce. The soups are also really good, and the creme brulee! misslillysjourneys.wordpress.com
