I visited the City Arms again with friends and enjoyed another great night in my favourite pub in Manchester…We love this pub… it can be found near the Town Hall on a back street (Kennedy Street) behind the Waterhouse Wetherspoons pub and next to The Vine pub… about a two min walk from St Peter’s Square Metrolink station…The City Arms is a traditional pub with two rooms and wooden floors… the front room has a large space to stand in front of the bar area, whereas the back room has plenty of seats & tables…For real ale lovers there are about eight handpumps that usually serve Titanic Plum Porter, Moorhouses & Pendle ales, plus upto six changing cask ales… an excellent choice of ales can always be found here, along with the usual other drinking options for those who prefer other drinks…Can get busy at lunchtimes and weekend evenings but well worth seeking out this wonderful real ale boozer – well worth a visit…
