Upon approaching this place for the first time, I wasn’t really expecting what I saw. It was a quaint little place on the side of a bridge. Didn’t really know whether the visit was worth the walk getting there.Once you entered the cabin, it was a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. They had a good crepe menu for the size of the venue. They even had a board which displayed different types of coffees which I found quite interesting. It encouraged me to order something I’ve never tried before, a cortido (Espresso and textured milk topped with crushed hazelnuts). The morning visit was made more enjoyable by the presence of Morgan (barrister/man behind the counter) who was very friendly and chatty.While munching away at my hot and sticky maple syrup crepe and sipping my cortido (which was quite tasty), all the other customers seemed like regulars. If I worked in the area, I could see why they would continue to come back day after day for the service and good tasting coffees.
