6 of us went for dinner, the host was very polite and managed the tables well, even though it was packed and the takes were running late, we got ours on time. The waitress was very helpful with our menu choices (as the pictures show). We had no problems at all and the food cane out surprisingly quick!A+ for effort. Will go again.

Part of cluster of listed old buildings in Castlefield this pub has a tad newer feign to it than your old grubby usuals. Menu is full of lovely bar food and some more hearty options for hungrier. Function rooms are handy for events or birthdays and outside area looks like it could be a treat in summer

I think tis is a must visit in Manchester. A fairly big pub/alfresco dining restaurant by the canal with loads of good food and good liquor as well! You will not be disappointed! 🙂

Nice to look at and love the location but having to look at the miserable, unhelpful staffs faces the entire time and getting highly-priced basic pub food u could get in the local weatherspoons it seemed a waste of money, the chilli burger wasn’t chilli in the slightest and was only warm throughout, garlic bread was the greasiest thing I’ve ever seen! I must say though the rabbit, celery and carrot pie was actually really nice which is a Shame coz the rest of it was a let down 🙁 sorry!

I think this is a nice place for good quality pub food. I have been many times and always happy. The staff are pleasant and food is good, nice setting too.

Not as good as it was…. An interesting pub which is now mostly spoiled by a refit and musak. The bargain bread and cheese/pate has now disappeared.
