My saviour when I was craving for Korean food in UK! Came here several times and they never dissapointed me. The restaurant is relatively small tho, but they serve quite authentic Korean food compared to other Korean restaurant in town. My favorites are definitely the BBQ and kimchi jeon/pancake. They also served the lettuce wrap along with the bbq. If I compared the food to the ones in Korean or Asian countries, this one would definitely be an okay one. But, because its in the UK… Id say that its definitely worth it 🙂
If you want to try korean kitchen, eat traditional foods here. But the staff are little rude. If you are 4 people, then all of you eat. Its not a right approach. But the meals are really delicious!
Great meal. Went on Saturday night with family and had the Korean style special menu. Marinated flat beef rib, kimchee chi-gae hotspot, king prawn in batter, pork belly and chicken GUI. All excellent especially the so galbee (flat beef rib) which everyone wanted another portion.Atmosphere relaxed and the staff were really helpful in explaining the dishes.Everyone wants to go again. Cost 15 per head plus drinks was excellent value
One of Manchester’s Hidden Gems. My friends and I went to this restaurant by accident as we were intending to go to This ‘n’ That just round the corner but it was closed. In the end, however, we were glad we went because it was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is family-run, the staff are very friendly and the decor is full of character and charm. Completely recommended, more people need to discover this place!
Tried this, and was amazed by how good this was will definitely try again. I had a Kimchi pancake to start followed by Beef Jim (braised beef in slightly sweet soy sauce) best meal I’ve had in Manchester in the last 3 weeks of working here . 17.90 for starter + main & 2 drinks.makes a great change from the usual Chinese or Indian.
Amazing food one of manchester’s best hidden secrets, every course tried out of this world, beef tartar -out of this world,go don’t let exterior put u off!
I have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years and have yet to be disapointed. The food is superb, and the atmosphere quiet and intimate.
