As they proclaim, I agree that this place serves best fish and chips in town.I ordered a plate of Captain’s Meal (3 variants of fish) and another plate of burger.The portion is really big and the price is affordable.Recommended restaurant to visit in Manchester.
Coming from new Zealand where we have fresh fish this place was well below. I won’t come back. Should of noticed that the place is empty. Fish was greasy and taste frozen chips were the same very chunky and not cooked even. And the sauces were watered down to the point that they had no flavour.
AWFUL FOOD, STAFF & CLIENTELE. WOULD NEVER VISIT AGAIN. I visited this fish & chip shop with my friend on 17th July. First they got the order wrong, only gave us one fish when I asked for two. The chips were awful, dried up scraps from the bottom of the chip pan. One portion was half the size of the other despite them both costing 1.80. When I complained to the manager she didn’t want to do anything, but finally offered to only charge 90p for one of the portions. Then a rude customer butted in, saying I was full of ****. We’ll never go there again.
