The BP is a good choice if you fancy a beer in a no frills, traditional old pub with a nice historical atmosphere about it. The choice of ales is good as is the choice of spirits, particularly whisky (scots/japanese you name it or bourbon). Service is non-fawning but helpful and does what it says on the tin.
Visited here last Saturday after a concert at the Bridgewater Hall. Lovely place and thoroughly enjoyed drinking here. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend for any visitors to the City.
