About
Nestled in the heart of the city, The Hatchet Inn is Bristol's oldest pub with a varied and colourful history. Dating back to 1606, its name is inspired by the woodsmen of the nearby Clifton Wood, and the pub has been home for all sorts throughout the centuries, from cock-fighting rings to bare-knuckle boxing, as well as hosting famous regulars like the pirate Blackbeard.
