Restaurant dishes are very delicious.Restaurant owner is nice. The price is very reasonable. This is a restaurant worth trying.I will come here to eat next time.
We went here as craving a good hungover feed. Call me a food snob but it was good ‘for a buffet restaurant’. Pretty standard ambiance and food- nothing outstanding but it was all good and definitely a good selection even though the open kitchen was closed (we were given half price and definitely felt that we had our money’s worth!)
The Tops was very impressed where food provided was very rich and colourful but tasty and fresh. I would like to come again next time when visiting Manchester.
Very disappointed.. we booked a table for a large group of us to pre theatre dine.. I rang to check that they had the booking and was assured they had.. when we got there the restaurant was closed even though the opening time said 5pm and our table was booked for 5.30pm. Feel very let down and wouldn’t recommend this restaurant as they obviously don’t value their customers. There were lots of other people stood outside with young children waiting too…
It is supposed to be world buffet but it mostly has chinese food. Vegetarian options are really less. Even those are not very well made. The starters had the usual onion rings, fries, which looked quite oily. For the mains, there are chinese and indian options. Veg jalfrezi and tofu and vegetables were ok. Veg pilau rice was undercooked. There was a live cooking station but it mostly had non veg options and I was not sure if they would cook the veg separately. Desserts were average.
Tops are the typical restaurant that you go to eat like the world is going to end tomorrow. The food is regular and the price it’s ok. I went in a Saturday’s lunch and it was a giant buffet, a lot of plates, but for what people told me dinner has a lot of meat to eat to offer.
Over 300 international food to choose from i didn’t manage to try all of them but was impress on the dishes! The Mongolian beef and the duck is a must try!!
