I was trying to think of something positive to write for this review about Meze but I just carnt. Empty restaurant and the service and food was poor.
Mrs Smith. Went for lunch midweek as my son has been wanting to eat there for a while. Did not appear busy but dreadful service. Took 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive and we had to ask waitresses twice after ordering before they eventually turned up. Food was very bland and mediocre, we were very dissapointed. Much better places to eat in Chester, won’t be going again.
New Meze Lovely. New Meze is a lovely location, it’s menu is varied and had a little for everyone! It is served quickly, the portions are plenty and the staff are nice. It can get busy, especially on the terrace on sunny lunches, so you may have a small wait for food but it also has cosy sofas inside to hide away for an afternoon coffee and cake! Good food, staff and atmosphere. Worth a try.
Very Poor !. Had Sunday lunch. The table was dirty & sticky, the bathrooms were disgusting. The meals meals were cold and bland. Never-again !
Lovely elevated terrace above the busy pedestrian way below. Friendly courteous service.
