About
Located on Saddler Street, just seconds away from Durham Cathedral, is Flat White Durham's latest venture: Flat White Kitchen. The five-story 16th century property has been restored back to its original splendour and is a meld of stripped-wood, copper pipes and bare brick alongside opulent French mirrors and fresh flowers. The coffee offering showcases the owners' talents, who opened their first cafe after working alongside some of Australia's greatest roasters. Five years on, the two are still regulars on the coffee machine, passing on their talents to only a select few who make the cut. The food offering from Flat White Kitchen is equally as perfected as the coffee. A strong, kitchen team has been hand selected from the finest northern restaurants to ensure that the menu is as strong as the reputation.
