Tamatanga is constantly amazing. They have a great atmosphere, great staff and great food. I can’t recommend highly enough. Visit this once and you will keep coming back again and again.
This is the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever tried. Food is cooked to perfection and they’ve got great lunch deal during the weekdays for only 8.95!!Everytime I visit Nottingham I give Tamatanga the priority among all other restaurants, simply because everything is perfect in this place from service to food quality to taste.I have tried different main courses and they were all perfect and well presented as usual, but what I’ve enjoyed most was Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter and Lamb Biryani.Highly recommend you to give this awesome place a visit!!
Nice and Welcoming place in Nottingham. Friendly staff and Prompt service. No rush or queues.. quality: GoodQuantity: Serves 2 personsAmbience: Good and well maintainedHighlights: Garlic naans, Railway Mutton Madras, Garlic Chilli chickenLowlights: Nothing as such..
One of the finest Indian food is served here. Located in the heart of the city, very easily approachable. Me and my friend, we ordered thaali because that’s what is largely famous about this place. And believe it or not, they perfected the Indian taste. That butter paneer was to die for and the naan were as soft as cotton. Could easily compete with any good restaurant in India. On the downside, I didn’t like their ambience much. It seems like they have just put tables in a huge room without giving decor a thought. And don’t fall for their 7.5 a meal before 6pm. They will charge you extra. Hidden costs involved.
One of the best ways to identify a good restaurant is by having Bhendi Masala, because this is the one where not just the quality of the masala, but the okra vegetable also matters a lot. I went here accidentally, and risked ordering bhendi masala, but eventually paid off, as it was amazing, with okra having very less roughage and cook optimally with a good combination of spices too. After this, I have been there couple more times, and even though the taste isnt perfectly consistent, they are way better than some of the 5 star restaurants in India itself. Anyways, leaving apart a bit of exaggeration, this is a very nice place with nice ambiance and good service. I have heard not so great reviews from my non-veg friends, but if you are fan of veg food, this is a good place!!!
Ottimo fast food indiano nel centro di Nottingham! Personale gentile e posti a sedere all’aperto in Trinity Square. Prezzi contenuti, buon rapporto qualit prezzo.
My first outing in Nottingham and I landed to a place where Indian food is served ! Though throughout Notts you will not find Indian food well as this place serves, this outlet is a gem for Indians. Luscious Indian taste of Paneer Makhni and Butter chicken, gravy is so pure that you will fall in love as soon as you sip in the curry. We had the aforesaid items along with naan and rice, this place is fine in terms of cost, and ambiance is also superb! Must try!
