Nice food, wrong order, extremely rude. Having waited an hour for our order (to be fair they had said 50 minutes so not too much longer) they brought wrong dish. They apologised on phone and agreed to refund but when the delivery driver came round with the money he was extremely rude, accused us of lying and then stormed off. Not the way to win round customers!

This is the BEST Thai restaurant in Battersea/Clapham area (and beyond). Super authentic. Always fresh ingredients and tastes like homemade. Great host and friendly staff. Don’t go anywhere else.

An outstanding traditional thai restuarant in calpham junction area where you will be found a tasty dish in thai style. If you are seeking a best to eat in , here is one alternative choice to have a go. Fresh cooked with spicy taste especially Tomyum Groong is a choice of good recommendation. You won’t disappoint of quality and quantity of foods, every dishes are selected by thai understanding cheif. To show how delicious of thai kitchen and a prond of thai atmosphere. Before getting in restuarant, you should prepare well and ready to eat in a reputation world cuisine.

Forgot to add that it is not on Northcote Road. …. so not sure why this reviewer got confused with this one on Lavender Hill and the lower end. So that review is invalid as should be for the thai on northcote.22 Oct, 2011Updated review on this great Thai place. …. had been worried about some negative reviews but glad someone who knows the restaurant has come to the rescue. Due to a strict diet have curbed back on eating out. But….I ate there about two weeks ago and had some ‘amazing’ soup – fresh and full of Thai goodness.Friendly as ever. Could do with some more local support with the amount of increased choice in the area. Dumplings as starters one of my favourites but the list is quite endless.09 Jan, 2011Best Thai on Lavender Hill. Of all the Thai restaurants on Lavender Hill this is the best but the least known unless you are in the ‘know’. Family run with that old fashioned interior that somehow relaxes you and then the food is delicious and the service friendly- so ticks all boxes. So to be specific on the food, here are some personal recommendations, thai dishes that I tried elsewhere and found to be indifferent but at Amazing Thai absolutely titillate the taste buds. Yum Neau- sirloin steak salad though be warned it is very hot though you can ask them to make it with a little less chilli! Lamb Massman- fragrant and tender. For a starter try Kratong Tong which is small crispy baskets filled with pork, prawns and sweetcorn (desc. lifted from their menu) but their dumplings are my absolute favourite. In recession times these little excellent local places need support hence this review, otherwise, I wouldn’t be letting on as there is nothing worse than finding your neighbour gem full to the rafters and you can’t get in!09 Jan, 2011Somtum. This papaya and green beans salad is delicious

Authentic, friendly and extremely tasty. Amazing Thai probably qualifies as my favourite Thai restaurant outside of Thailand. The food in here is outstanding and almost indistinguishable from what I was served in some of the best places I have been to in Thailand. I recommend you try the SomTum (spicy Papaya Salad) or Yum Neau (spicy Beef Salad). The flavours are fragrant and punchy at the same time. The owners wife runs the kitchen and she has a very talented hand for using just the right amount of herbs and traditional ingredients. If spicy hot isn’t your thing then just let them know and it will be prepared less potent. For mains give the the excellent squid or fish dishes a try and make sure you order a side of stir-fried Thai spinach. Delicious. We eat or have delivery from here at least two or three times a month and have never been disappointed.

Bring your wallet not your friends. I refer to the Thai Restaurant (Group) 54 Northcote Road SW11So, for a take away – I ordered 2 starters, 1 Pad Kee Mao with rice plus 1 Singha beer -whilst i waited- and was presented with a bill of 27!!! When we opened the food it was so disapointing, with the entire take away fitting on one normal sized plate! So micro sized, small and mean were these little amounts of food that i struggled to notice what it was i was actually eating. Frankly it was pretty poor and i dont think i’ll be going there again, its a pity because it used to be very good and a shame since they have opted for diminishing amounts of food and weird because its a restaurant. My advise is not to order any starters these are ludicrously over priced at around 6.50 each!! These tiny amounts of food wont feed a sparrow. Stick to the main dishes. Its extraordinary to think that only a few years ago Northcote Rd SW11 was a mish mash of odd shops and colourful hoardings and a bit of variety, unfortunately though this seems to have changed with the growning number greedy resturants, shops and parasites. It seems that all that is left are those colourful hoardings with very little else.I think the Thai Restaurant Group should take a look at the group! My apologies to the Amazing Thai Restaurant on Lavender Hill

Very small portions and overpriced. Not happy after delivery. Portions were very small. A special thai starter of 9.50 consisting of deep fried food-1 prawn toast, tempura, few spring rolls -RIP OFF. Will NoT be ordering again. We ordered a masaman and green curry came to over 25. Very dissapointed.
