Amazing cheap eat. Come here and have your faith in charcoal grilled kebabs renewed. Everything I had was full of flavour. Not the quietest of places even on a Monday!
We went to Bababoom for a celebration lunch and we really liked it. The flavours and smells are truly delicious if you liked grilled food and the menu is nice and varied too, with options for vegetarians if necessary as well as meat lovers. No fish though sadly! The chicken shish we ordered was absolutely superbly cooked – well marinated and surrounded by delicious charred vegetables. I had the fattoush salad with this but the portion size was really lacking – I needed much more! My friend had it with the flatbread which looked delicious and was more generous in portion. In terms of ratings, it’s one mark off for the lack of portion size for chicken, fattoush and vegetables – all needed more for the price, as with the additional grilled cheese: 2 small slices for 2?! Not enough. But the concept is great and the flavours superb. We will be back.
