  Its a classic chippy, and every good area needs a classic chippy right? Wrong.Every good area needs a GOOD classic chippy.The Battersea fish bar underwhelmed I must say, the batter too oily (is that even possible!) and the chips too soggy. It is a shame really that something so simple as fish and chips can be so comprehensively ruined. Oh well, such is life, hop in the car and head to Firezza Pizza; it is a great alternative and not too far away.

  After reading positive (4-5 stars) reviews on justeat.co.co.uk, I decided to order some food from Battersea Fish Bar. To be specific, I ordered: 2 portions of large chips, 3 Saveloys, 1 portion of salad, and some curry sauce for the chips. -The LARGE chips weren’t so large and were very dry and cold.-The saveloys were cold, tasteless, mushy, and only fit for the dustbin after one bite.-When I looked at the curry sauce, I could not identify with its extremely yellow colour and white floating pieces. And of course this too was cold.- The salad ,which was priced at 2.00 on the just eat website, was also a disappointment, as it was very small (you know the square tin containers as opposed to the rectangular one) and the tomatoes were not Crisp and fresh (mushy for lack of a better word). In short, don’t waste your money or your time. If you don’t believe me you are more than welcome to place order with them, I can also provide you with the address and telephone number:ONE STAR!
