This place is always busy and justifiably so as it does a solid breakky and lunch. Get in early in the day if you want an inside spot prior to the brunch rush, but even outdoors is cosy with blankets and heating. Very on trend currently.
On my visit to London town, came here for a late brunch with the ladies. I ordered the burger, pickle and chips it was delish cooked medium rare and juicy, though I wasn’t feeling the best so it was a struggle. The ladies got the salmon hash which looked lovely and was a nice brunch addition rather than your typical eggs Benedict. Nice quirky spot in Clapham
The menu here is amazing, it was a tough choice choosing between the corn fritters and the granola but I ended up going with the granola. It was delicious with plums and Greek yoghurt, amazing! pocketfullofdreams.com
Amazing breakfast spot – simple, good food done well. Mushrooms are outstanding as are the milkshakes that come in a variety of flavours.Unbelievably busy on weekends – you will have to queue to get a table.
Went to Brew this afternoon for a late brunch after rising in the afternoon after a late night out! The weather was lovely so all the seats outside were taken, but we got a table no problem inside. Three of us went for the smoked salmon and hash with poached egg special and Saz went for the burger and chips. Food arrived quickly and have to say it was not what I was expecting but still tasted delicious. Probably two of the best poached eggs I have ever had.
I sat in here and had a delightful breakfast all to myself this weekend, after the friend I was meeting fell back to sleep and accidentally stood me up. Poor me, I know. But don’t worry, there’s a nice end to this sob story. And that end tastes like blueberry pancakes and an apple, peal and spinach smoothie. It’s noisy, crowded, and my lord it’s not cheap. But it is AMAZING. whatsarahdoes.com
Thoroughly revolting place. Coffee was burnt. Food was tasteless yet over salted. Service extremely poor. Extremely expensive. It is the kind of place that could never survive in other parts of London such as Shoreditch where there is much more competition among independent coffee/food places.
