  China House is absolutely awful. We ordered 3 mains and some sides (eggrolls and such), both Chinese and Thai. The pad thai came with regular Italian fettucine pasta. We had ordered a shrimp pad thai, but there was no shrimp at all, only vegetables, so clearly they gave us the wrong order. After waiting 90 minutes for the order, we dove in hungry. Just a few bites in, and our appetite gave way to more objective observance of the food the pad thai was sour, was going bad. In fact, all the dishes seemed a bit off, like they had been sitting out for the whole day or more. We stopped eating entirely because we realized we were so close to possible illness if we ate our meal, which honestly, tasted terrible anyway. Setting the food to the side, we noticed they didnt deliver the dessert. We called and complained about the missing dessert, the wrong item, and the terrible smell and taste of the food. China House said they couldnt help us at all, saying the new chef was the only one there and it was his first day. What kind of restaurant puts on unskilled staff all alone??Since we paid Hungry House, we figured we pay them to manage the system, including horrible product and service. Hungry House appeared to try to help. First I explained everything to an American who understood how frustrated I would be after 30 min on hold and no help. Then the line went dead. I called back and waited another 40 min to talk to Vlad. He talked to China House, and we were told to set the food aside for the delivery man to pick up to ensure we werent fooling the system. Fair enough, we werent eating it anyway. But then they didnt come. And they would not accept that the food was awful enough to merit a wasted couple of hours on the phone about it. They did acknowledge that our dessert did not come, but would not bring it to us either or explain how they knew this for sure.Vlad from Hungry House eventually opened up to me his inability to do more than gently ask China House to refund us, and that he had no power to give us our money back, though we had paid Hungry House. He forwarded the message to the manager, we left the food out for the delivery man to collect (as asked), and after 2 days, I was told we would only be reimbursed the money for the dessert never delivered.Save your sanity as well as your money DO NOT ORDER FROM CHINA HOUSE OR HUNGRY HOUSE.
