I recently tried this place for Vietnamese food but was quite disappointed with it. The menu seemed more or less Chinese which really put me off. The service was pretty good but that did not make up for bad food. There are a lot of places offering much better food.
I love this place but only for it’s food and that’s it. As compared to my last visit, this place has become very expensive and it feels unfair for what the food is worth. The food is always bursting with flavours and color, and the beef and pork are always so well cooked, but the service is awful with the staff being rather indifferent.
I visited this place expecting a good Vietnamese meal, but was disappointed. The place claims to offer traditional Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine, but I did not find any Vietnamese element in their food. The food is average with not enough flavoring, which is disappointing. I am not sure if I would recommend this place.
My time at this place was pretty average. We did not dine in and choose the take away option. I think the menu is not that great ,in fact the list looked pretty weird with some funky items on it but the popular ones absent. But where the prices are concerned this might be your best bet with really a cheap deal. Food for eight cost us around 35 pounds ,which was awesome! The food was pretty standard and the pork puffs were tasty. This one is in my good books but not extraordinary in any way.
If you need something quick, tasty and hassle free food this is the place to be. In the menu, you can find all the normal Chinese/Vietnamese food. one of my favorites here is the prawn toast. This is a very affordable place to come with friends or on the way back for a long night out. But the main attraction of this place is that you can bring in your own booze and have quite a few evenings out on the cheap.
After getting all drunk and done from an event I and a few of my friends planned to go get something to eat. We eliminated Subway and Kebab Shops from our list and continued until we finally ended up being at this place. The described their special items as Vietnamese dishes and after going through the whole menu we couldn’t really find much of Vietnamese dishes. Food happened to be average, quantity was fine and qualifies as a cheap place among the places to crash in Zone One. Won’t really recommend it.
This is a bad Chinese restaurant – not Vietnamese at all
