This was my first trip to a Korean restaurant (those ‘street food’ places don’t count) and although I got on the wrong bus to get there, it was worth it.It was super busy on Friday night so I’m glad we booked but we were served quickly and impressed with the level of service offered.In particular, we loved the carafe that the wine came in, a weird bong type item filled with ice that started the meal off perfectly.I was disappointed with the ‘corn crackers’ (basically crisps) and seaweed which was literally strips of nori on a plate but the dumplings (although not looking too appetising) were delicious. Nothing compared to the beef bulgogi though. It was seriously seriously good. Perfectly marinated and cooked meat, it was super tender and so good we had to drink the sauce off the plate. We had to. It was a matter of emergency.The whole meal was awesome and we will 100% be back.A real hidden gem with cracking food and prompt service.
