I’ve only just discovered the Holy Drinker and its distance away from the busy end of Northcote road makes it a pleasant destination. Nothing too special inside but there is a happy hour before 8 where the cocktails are 5.50. Not the best discount,but they’re only about 7 after 8 anyway and are a good size and very tasty. There is also a good range of beer and other drinks so worth a try if the bar you’re in up the road is too hectic. Service is quick, including v little faff for very good cocktails – better than the normal half hour wait for a drink at a cocktail bar! londoncurryblog.com
