I have been to Kao Sarn many many times since they first opened in Brixton. It used to be good value, tasty food and a nice buzzy atmosphere if at times a bit hectic. However I went back to this branch in CJ this week and it has seriously deteriorated. The quality of the food has changed (green curry now has practically no kick at all) and some of the portion sizes have literally halved! The tiniest pad thai I have ever seen!!! More disappointing however was the appalling service – I am used to this place having a fairly quick turnover but to have your food whisked away while you are still eating and the bill thrust in front of you when you have been there less than an hour despite having ordered staters and mains with 6 people was outrageous. When I pointed this out to the waitress and explained that I had seen recent poor reviews about their service I was simply told, ‘yeah, we don’t really care’. Sums it up perfectly. Shame.

They seem to be doing well but I hope one day they really feel the need to treat the customer well. We didn’t get any food since we were expelled so I can’t really rate it. I hope it closes and they get bankrupt. Thanks
Good food, rude service. I have never been to a restaurant where the manager has insisted that another customer order more food, specifically starters, and when told her service was disgraceful, told the customer to leave and walked her out the door!No doubt the food was decent, Tom yum soup, Thai green chicken curry, all very standard but nothing special. I would recommend addie’s Thai that is not too far away in earls court instead. Probably won’t come here again unless their service improves!
Great thai. Good service, quick quality food. Eaten here a few times now and never had a bad meal. They also do take away and its BYO.You often need to book but its worth the trouble.
Very serene atmosphere with few eclectic delectable decor that just please with the eyes. The host was extra friendly, pleasant with less intrusive approach. The food was was excellent and arrived really quick after we ordered with the host. Please please come to this jewel in Clapham/Battersea area.
SH1T. Don’t go near this place – the food is rank and its a rip-off.I have lived in Thailand for years and eaten Thai food all over the world but this was ABSOLUTELY the WORST Thai food I have ever had.You have been warned!
