We were 24 people in total celebrating a birthday party. The atmosphere was great and bar staff were really friendly, but when I went outside to get some fresh air security guard didnt let me back and started pushing me around aggressively (clearly exceeded his authority in front of a lot of people) even though I was not argueing with him and was only waiting for my friends to take their things from inside so we can all leave. The only way to make him stop was to start recording the whole thing (which I cannot attach to this review). Then suddenly bar staff took the guard inside and appologised for his behaviour. When we asked for name of either guard or manager they did not want to provide it. Based on this negative experience I will not be going there again and definitely cannot recommend it.

The venue is very inviting with their red old fashioned leather couches and elegant interior, it has a very relaxing atmosphere. There is a small restaurant area in the back separated from the bar. I had a 200g fillet steak, ordered medium to medium rare, and it is the best steak I’ve had since I was at CUT (the absolute best)earlier this year. It was perfectly cooked, very tasty and came with three sauces of your choice and potato wedges. I would highly recommend people to visit this nice place in Battersea, even if you don’t live there! The only complaint I would give is that the service was quite slow, but we were not in a rush so it didn’t really affect our experience a lot. See you next time!
