Odd service. Unwelcoming ambience and decor and bland coffee. Wasn’t awful but wasn’t even mediocre. So many other choices locally I would prefer to go and spend my money.
This great cafe is one of my locals while on holiday in London. This morning I had the apple Bircher muesli and the fresh mint tea. The tea was light and refreshing – just what I felt like after my weekend of over eating, and the Bircher was absolutely delicious! Everything on the menu was really well priced too. I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu!

If I were local to Clapham Junction, this would be my new local. Loved everything about our visit to Story Coffee: the coffee, the fresh food (and lovely little touches like fresh flowers on our toast) and the decor. It is tiny, but oh so adorable & affordable. Try the avocado toast with salmon for breakfast. You’ll be ready to go for the rest of the day. jessonthames.com
