Go elsewhere!. So So disappointed with the bolingbroke. Have been a regular since i moved to the area over a year ago but standards seem to be slipping. Inconsistent bar staff and very abrupt unhelpful manager. It is to be honest a complete rip off as every bartender serves what they think are the right measures for drinks however when they measure less than their previous measures it makes people feel ripped off. Never going back and would not recommend this place to anyone.
Super for kids & grown-ups!. We popped in at noon on a Sunday with our three kiddies in tow, hoping to grab a table before the rush. We had no reservation, but the lovely hostess told us that we could have a table as long as we gave it back by half one. I said, ‘as long as the kitchen runs on time’! And boy did they deliver! What seemed like minutes after placing our order with the equally lovely waitress, not only did we have our drinks and yummy basket of bread, we had our mains! A great burger, scrummy kid size roasts, and a fab grown-up lamb roast. We all devoured the amazing feast almost as fast as is had been delivered to us. The grand finale was the ‘decorate-your-own’ fairy cakes for the kids. Which allowed the grown-ups to have a mocha and a cappuccino in piece. Next time we will make a reservation so we can have the starters too!
