THE BEST PUB IN CLAPHAM BY A COUNTRY MILE.Its no coincidence that The Eagle is on the front cover of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2015, the first London pub in 42 years to have that honour. This is an excellent ‘old mans pub’, nothing trendy or pretentious here, just a good old fashioned boozer with a mouth watering selection of ales. There’s also usually a good dog or two in there to add to the homely feel. In the summer there’s also a beer garden to sup away in and with a leaning towards rugby, live sport is regularly shown. Perfect.I’d say come and see for yourself, but I’d rather you didn’t as I want it all for myself. londoncurryblog.com
