Stay away!. I popped in here the other night for a quick snack on my way out the other evening. It was expensive and disappointing. It’s a curious place, the front of it is organised like a standard chippy, a rear area which is trying to be a restaurant and, in between, there is a display of the fish they have on offer for the day. You order at the till and then take a seat. The service was very friendly. I had coley and chips with a ginger beer and even if this fish was the cheapest on the menu, it still cost me total of 11!Coley reminded me of Cod but it was bland, tasteless and overcooked. The batter had a satisfying crunch but it was greasy and I could feel my cholesterol climbing as I worked my way through it. The chips were very ordinary indeed – definitely nothing to write home about – have a look at the picture I uploaded to the site.. Stay away!
