The Grove is a pretty cool place, not masquerading as anything at all, just a quirky pub finding it’s feet. The beer is very reasonably priced (a rare place in London where you can purchase a pint for under 4) and the food is amazing with HUGE portion sizes. If you like a burger than you’ll love this place as it’s pretty much their specialty, with beef, chicken and a variety of veggie options which as a vegetarian pleases me immensely. The owners and staff are lovely and really make an effort to get to know you, 9 times out of 10 you’ll be on a first name basis with them by the end of the evening. It’s a hidden gem currently but definitely wont stay that way for long so if you find yourself in the area or at a loss for a way to spend your evening head to Battersea and check out The Grove. 100% recommend 😀

The Sunday lunch you dream of that will get you out of bed on a lazy Sunday! Crispy roast potatoes, creamy cauliflower cheese, stuffing (!), huge yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy. Lamb and mint sauce or sausages from Borough Market. Enormous portions! I wish it was my local!

Really fun pub with a nice little garden area! Awesome burger menu, once my friend and I had finally decided the food came really quick and was delish. Staff are friendly, will definitely come back.

Recommended by a friend and absolutely loved it. I’m not local but happened to be in the area and someone at work had mentioned this place. Was not disappointed at all. The food was lovely and really quick service. The staff were friendly and easy to approach. Will definitely go back when I’m next in the area.

A great discovery! The sister pub to Southwarks Lord Nelson, a place I drop in every time I’m in London. So we decided this time, my buddies and I would take a trip to Battersea and check out the new premises, and we were not disappointed. The menu of the same high standard as expected, it delivered perfectly. The burgers are modestly priced, and worth every penny.our meal arrived within 10 mins, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating.Finished off with a few beers in the garden, with lanterns and fairy lights, all in all a successful evening. This is a real hidden gem, spread the word, you wont be disapointed!
