Having seen Jay Rayners review of Dalila a while back we picked here when looking for somewhere to eat around Battersea. The large selection of hot and cold mezze was impressive, as well as the tasty sounding mains. The most difficult thing was deciding what to order (cliched I know). We ordered the humus (which came with plenty of Khobez), Warak Inab (stuffed vine leaves) and Arayess (flat bread stuffed with minced lamb) from the mezze, as well as the mixed grill platter. The platter had a good mix – Lahem Meshwi, Shish Taouk, Kafta lamb and chicken, Kastaleta, Shawarma Chicken and Shawarma lamb (http://www.dalila.co.uk/index.php?dbs=menu)The food was all tasty, but whilst the minced spiced lamb dishes were nice, the chicken kebabs (diced and minced) and diced lamb kebabs were the best in my opinion. All in all the food was good (3.5/5), tasty and well priced. The service was great and really made us feel welcome, so all in: price + food + service I’d give this 4/5. If you’re nearby then I recommend popping in.

First thing that brings smile on face was the menu card- lots of veg options….. its difficult to get as much as these in a city like London! The restaurant isn’t huge but the tables feel intimate.Friendly attentive & helpful staff really made our visit special. On the food front – from mezze plates to main meals everything comes fresh and well prepared. We also had a couple of cocktails which were also lovely and very well made.So full that no space for desserts but will be back here soon to try one 🙂

Amazing!. We went here last night and were totally blown away by the food. We ordered the Dalila Mezze and Main at 42, and it was absolutely delicious. The Hommos Beiruty was perfect – not too much tahini and a great consistency. The meat was delicious. We have both only ever tried falafel that is quite dry, but this was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, and was a new experience. The owner Tony and his staff did everything to make us feel at home and made sure that we wanted for nothing. Baklava came at the end of the meal and again was just right as it was not too sweet, which it often is. We will definitely be coming back again, and again, and again…! We couldn’t recommend it more.

Beautiful experience! One of a kind! Exquisite cuisine and main course especially! Khoury wine is a great choice of house wine! Love it!

A great experience. I went with four other friends to this restaurant last night and had a lovely time. We had few cold ans hot mezze which tasted great and then I had the spicy fish samke harra, as main course. The sambousek, cheese rolls and sausages (made from scratch by the chef) were the highlight of the mezze and the fish was done just right. The service was also absolutely amazing with the owner himself overlooking everything. We were also offered baklava on the house which I thought was very generous!A truly great experience, we’ll definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious. We went to Dalila for lunch and had some mixed grills with lots of different mezze. The quality of this place is unbelievably high – fresh, tangy salads and sauces with beautifully spiced meats. The best Middle-Eastern place in the neighbourhood and we eat a lot of it! The service was impeccable with plenty of refills and free additions, all served with a smile and an explanation. A lot of the produce comes fresh from Beirut, so tastes incredible. The olives and Dalila Falafel in particular were amazing, as well as the Sambousek. The mixed grill was great with very good meats, nuanced spices and a satisfying quantity. The bill wasn’t expensive either. This is our new favourite place and we thoroughly recommend it.
