Popped in for lunch with my partner as I have always wanted to come and try this place and I finally did. The decoration had its quirkiness and it had a few tables filled but after my experience I don’t know how? The American diner experience was never experienced with staff who frankly didn’t even notice us we were constantly waving our arms about while the staff huddled at the bar chatting, the starter and the main I ordered had th same chicken just one was covered in bbq sauce and the other was on a pancake with maple syrup. I was deeply disappointed and we didn’t even finish our meals feeling them too bland. I would say the food was ok but no one wants to pay for ok food especially at these prices when for the Same amount you can go dip and flip, five guys or dirty burger for your American food fix.

Love the venue. They have nice beer and their drinks. Always quite busy and nice vibe. However can get quite packed in the weekend nights but always fun!

Went for the first time & from the outside it looks like abit like a pub. The food was average and the atmosphere was very loud. The service was quick & prices were reasonable.

Steph Maxwell and I stopped here for a Sunday afternoon drink in the sunshine and gazed hungrily at the food which looks seriously sensational (screw the diet) I will 100% be back and ordering the entire menu. The service was great and I loved the decor. Really felt like I was somewhere other than clapham (as much as I love it). A solid alternative to the surrounding pubs that can be saturated when it’s sunny.

I have no idea why this place was pretty empty on a sunny Sunday afternoon when The Alexandra next door was packed because it was well decorated with friendly staff and a HUGE selection of drinks. The front ‘garden’ was drenched in sun and be assured, I am coming back for food because I saw those burgers and waffles, and they looked amazing.

What an amazing Sunday afternoon!!!I visited Honky Tonk (following a suggestion of a good friend of mine) yesterday with my friends and we experienced really good food combined with an excellent service! We had 3 starters (Quesadilla, Mozarella sticks & Nachos with chicken) my favourite one was Mozarella sticks… Really delicious. I have to say that though it was not a spanish/mexican restaurant Quesadilla and Nachos were really good there!!!As main dish I had the Fried chicken Burger…. With rosemary chips on the side! It was massive and…comparing with others I have tried before it was far far the better!!! Be careful, it is spicy a little bit… (I like it spicy 😉 )Well, all in all it was really good food (good value for money … As well) and the relaxing atmosphere was an excellent choice for lazy… Syndayzzzz afternoon lunch!Next time I will definetely give a try of your cocktails/shakes!Congrats guys!!!G.

On a sunny day, the foot path seating is a great place to watch the world go by. The cocktail list reads OK and the bar staff will also create variations of your choice. I started with a classic mojito and then moved onto a raspberry variation. The drinks were packed full of fresh fruit rather than artificial flavours which was good to see. The food is typical greasy American diner food that comes in generous proportions. Although it’s not the type of food I would normally go for, it seemed popular with others around us; particularly the burgers. The service was happy and friendly; exactly what you would expect at a diner. Overall, it was an OK experience with everything you would expect for your run-of-the-mill high street bar.
