Worst restaurant Ever!! Service was terribly slow. Manager was rude. Drinks we wanted were not available. Sister’s starter was late compared to the rest of us and was frozen and missing brioche and port jelly. My mother’s duck was under cooked when we asked for it to be well done. My steak was supposed to be well done, sent it back to be recooked and they forgot!! SO I DID NOT EAT!! DISGUSTING!! They then had the cheek to charge for the green beans that came with my steak that of course I could not eat as had no steak with it!! And to top it off, they charged for service!! I will never ever step foot in there again, was shocking!!

I seem to be going to a lot of restaurants with character and ambience lately. This time we did go to have a good time with our friends who were moving back to Spain. A restaurant decorated with clocks of different shapes and sizes could either remind you of the good time you spent there, or how slow time moves in bad company! However the food ensured that our time was well spent. My lobster was delicately spiced and millefeuille of crab, avocado and tomato fresh and appetizing. A good way to order at La Bonne Heure if you are with friends and you like sharing desserts and starters is to order Les Formules Starter+ Mains and Mains +Dessert each. So we all tasted duck, beef, grouse and the lobster and desserts. Their house wine was actually good, which is a rare occurrence in most restaurants. So, if you want a laid-back evening with friends and you don’t want to compromise on the quality of food, you should go have a La Bonne Heure! driftingtraveller.me
Charming and friendly neighbourhood restaurant. Warm and welcoming setting; delicious and reasonably-priced food; friendly, generous staff. In fact, impossible to fault! Sue (and friends).
