It’s alright.Nothing exciting. It is a bit bigger then other three nearby Spanish tapas places and does not feel intimate at all.It is great for bigger parties and birthdays, due to space and pricing but romantic it is not.For me the highlight was marinated peppers and simple chorizo dish.I love octopus but this one was very fatty.
Recently went for a friends birthday and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is electrifying! The food came quickly, as usual it took me a while to filter down my choices and pick one meal, i chose the paella, it was amazing! And what really makes La Rueda special, is the transformation into a club/bar scene at night so you can burn those calories away!

Great Place!. Not sure what it’s like now but this place served the best paella I have ever tasted! Polite staff, efficient service & excellent food! Friday night were party night & you were always guaranteed a great night of music! Really miss this place!
RACIST AND HOMOPHOBIC SECURITY!!. My friend and I visited this bar/restuarant this saturday night and I must say their security are the most racist I’ve ever seen!! We are both of black origin and when we tried to get in they told us it was couples only and refused us entry. while we were hanging about we saw them let all the white people in even though they were not couples. We challenged them and asked to speak to the manager! they informed us that the manager was not around but we were reliably informed that the manager was in. Interestingly, two other black men triend to gain entry as well but were refused entry by these security men. The security told the men that it was for couples only and the men said they were gay. Giuess what? the security asked the men to PROVE it!!! I thought this was very insulting and uncalled for. We again challenged them as they kept letting all these white people in when they were arriving and etering in 3s or 5s. We told them we will report them for being racist and homophobic!
Good food big portions very fast. A bit noisy though
Over priced deep fried rubbish. Years ago this place was great, went in 2009 and I can’t describe how poor the food was. Poor service, try to get you out really quickly meaning even if you got nice food you haven’t got time to enjoy it (which you won’t!)
