Saturday night was date night and seeing as Steph Maxwellcouldn’t hobble much further than our front door, we decided to try out this place as it was close and we love Lebanese food.Upon approaching, it was super busy outside, packed full of people smoking shisha and playing cards but we were able to grab a table as long as we smoked shisha (which we had every intention of doing obviously). The table was a 20 quid Ikea job which was well worn by the weather paired by two seats which were far to high for the table, but we ordered drinks and shisha and relaxed. The vibe was relaxed, the service quick and friendly and generally, it was a great place to relax on a Saturday night. There was even a belly dancer who came out to gyrate around our heads (although she didn’t have much of a belly). We ordered some halloumi and houmous to eat outside. The houmous was slightly too smooth for my liking but it was still, full of flavour. The winner of the night was the thickly cut and beautifully salty halloumi which was was pretty epic. After we had these dishes we moved inside to have chicken shawarma as the table wouldn’t allow us to eat with a knife and fork, we were seated way to high and the vibe inside couldn’t have been more different, bright lighting, sparse tables and the service was very sporadic. The chicken was well flavoured but too fatty for my tastes. I still enjoyed it when paired with the garlic sauce though. The real low point in the meal was the rice, it was obviously boil in the bag, way over done and had no vermicelli in it (despite the menus promises). We were really not feeling the inside of the restaurant and wanted to move back outside, we could only do so if we got another shisha, so that’s what we did. Another 15 quid down. A bit steep seeing as we had already bought one before moving inside. All in all, the ‘starters’ were awesome and the drinks can’t be faulted (nor can the shisha) but its not a meal type place. With the bill coming to over 100 quid, you couldn’t help thinking that we could have eaten at Hakkasan for that price.I would go back for drinks, a smoke (and halloumi) but not much else.

Good Ambience , good food excellent service !!! Will definitely go back .
Delicous food and fine hospitality. Finest Lebanese food (honestly – the seabass was to die for), cosy atmosphere topped off with Moroccan tea, baklava & shisha. Wrapped up under a blanket in an outdoor heated sofa area, an excellent way to spend any evening with my boyfriend.Really attentive and friendly staff. We’ll be regulars for sure!
