This is a nice, authentic Italian in the heart of Clapham. To start we ordered the selection of bruschetta which I wasn’t blown away by, if I’m honest. For main, I ordered the gnocchi which was the most delicious comfort food and exactly what I was hoping for! The pizzas looked great too. The service was a bit of a let down as we had to remind our waiter to bring a few things and he forgot to bring the bottle of wine we were hoping to eat with our dinner. Instead we were just charged an extra drink each, however the bill was amended with no issue. The staff are nice but I feel a bit flustered.
A beautiful restaurant that you would not expect from the small exterior hidden amongst the other store fronts in Clapham Common. Pizza’s are amazing but portion sizes for mains are small, although I am comparison to American portion sizes. My recommendation is go for the garlic bread pizza as a starter to make sure you are satisfied. You can take away also, if that’s your thing.
