they have just started/ or I have just noticed (?) they have daily soups for the lovers of a crunchy bread with a hot, delicious spoonful of heaven. Going on and on about burgers, pizza and meat selections is rather in the peripheries of popular culture- but I do feel that soups, are underrated at times, just as mezes. Actually, they are both nutritious and once you consume one with full-bodied ingredients, you will not only feel warmer but satiated. I dont see them just as starters, especially in winter times.Cutting to the chase- mushroom and rosemary, minestrone and pea& ham are worth a try if you come across on the daily menu. Your stomach will definitely get happy by a soothing soup selection.

A lot of different options here including freshly made sandwiches and rolls which are prepared right in front of you. My favourite is the new yorker but i also go in in the mornings and get the super food porridge which is really tasty and not badly priced at 1.95.

Their service is really fast and efficient, with a separate payment counter so staff can focus on making sandwiches. The food is great, especially the set combinations. My favourites are the New Yorker and the Parisian – lovely melty cheese in both. I would definitely recommend Benugos for a nice lunch.

I’ve been working around the corner for a while now and Benugo does what it says on the box. It isn’t especially cheap but on the other hand, why should it be? The coffee is pretty great, the service is very quick and polite and the sandwiches are great. They are quite expensive and could have some better breakfast/yoghurt options. A good option!

Decent deli. (Visit 9/11/10) A decent deli sandwich shop on the corner of St John Street & Clerkenwell Road. I didn’t particularly love my New York Deli flatbread but think I chose wrong, the Sicilian or Parisian looked good. An intersting desert, ‘Cockney Fool’ – spiced apples & cream. Worth popping in if you’re local.

Fantastic value with an excellent choice of freshly made sandwiches, the best coffee i’ve hafd in a long time, also recomend their bar & kitchen at the BFI.
