This cosy restaurant serves delicious Indian food at very decent prices. The staff are friendly and welcoming and service is fast.I went with a fairly large group but the food came pretty quickly and portion sizes were really big and filling (especially as we’d all devoured the poppodams and chutneys before the mains arrived!). I had the vegetable biryani and couldn’t finish it, though it was delicious. The naan breads were fresh and flavourful and the veggie sides (sag aloo, sag paneer etc) were really tasty. Rude ‘Manager’We walked past the curry house on a Thursday night in November, thought it looked nice and cosy so decided to walk in and ask for a table. We entered through the side door which was open. However we were quickly made to feel very unwelcome by a little manager who shouted at us for coming in through the wrong door. Although the door was very much open, he then proceeded to tell us that the restaurant was fully booked although there were plenty of tables and that we were unwelcome. This then continued on the pavement outside, passers by couldn’t believe how this man was acting.I would not recommend this restaurant, although the food looked good and reasonably priced – the customer service is non existent – especially if you walk through the wrong door!!
