Fabric is one of the happening places in Central London. You can walk it up from Holborn. The surroundings are more like a port area where ships dock. Having a ID on you is a MUST. They pat you down comprehensively, your wallets will be scanned and each paper and penny will be double checked. There was a drug abuse incident last year, in which two guys were found dead. So they are very strict with the No-drugs policy. No MDMA no marijuana. The music floors are divided into different rooms with different DJs playing simultaneously. The music is thumping with the beats coming from the floor. The crowd is local plus little tourists. Being London, it’s a no brainer that the crowd is classy. The party goes on until 7 amish. Leave a little earlier to avoid the chaos at the jackets counter. By the time it’s 6 ish you can get the tube or if it’s weekend, there’s always a night tube. Go home, recharge and next day head to Egg or MOS One life, live it all !!
We went on the 16th of January because we knew Steve Bugg and other djs that were going to play. The music was amazing! So was the lighting and the place as a whole, but we were confused with the division of dance floors because it wasn’t clearly stated. I would recommend it, but not later than 1-2 a.m. because it starts to get crowded and people become disrespectful.
Fabric has long been a London clubber’s essential nightclub. It’s been open for nearly 15 years and has since climbed from strength to strength to appear on the world’s most reputable club lists. The musical genres there are mainly drum and bass, hiphop, electro, house, breakbeat, garage and, in the recent years, dubstep. Fabric puts on different types of night on a weekly basis to accommodate for various tastes. It’s also got three different rooms which play simultaneously from dj booths of stages. To make sure you get a ticket on the weekend, buy your tickets online or go after 3 am when tickets are 5 pounds. Otherwise the queue can get quite big but it’s also an opportunity to start chatting and make friends.Watch out for: thieves, the bouncers are on edge, police outside, very hot venue so don’t dress up!
