Wetherspoons as its norm. Full of guys, mostly manual workers who finish up at 3pm then proceed to down a few pints before heading home to the ole ball and chain. This particular one is not the place or a lady who doesn’t have her wits about her. If you are a bit dressed (i.e. office attite) be prepares to be leered at as if you are on the lunch menu with the Thursday Curry club. I myself can give as good as i get so stare back with attitude. They soon get bores (and embarassed) and move onto weaker prey. Not a bad pub for a cheeky drink with colleagues. I had to pop in because i was early for a meeting and wanted to fill some time. cookandpour.co.uk
