Situated in an old bank on Regent Street, Clifton village, the building has been lovingly and inspirationally refurbished bringing a fun and sophisticated restaurant space. Our great friend, Spanish artist Andi Rivas, has once again produced some stunning works of art detailing the passion and quality which will be on offer in Bar 44. His work dovetails nicely with the many other features which give Bar 44 Bristol points of interest, references to favourite areas of Spain and, most importantly, help to create a fascinating place to socialise. A new 100% Spanish drinks list has been launched along with a brand new unique tapas menu. Regular customers from our sister Bar 44s will be happy to see some of our signature dishes dotted amongst a whole host of tantalising new creations.Details

Food was reasonable, but far from good. Nice decor and ambience. Several dishes served luke warm, quality adequate but surely needs to be better for the price (even allowing for Clifton Village premium). Drinks menu decent.
Absolutely a must visit! The roast platters to share are fantastic value and so much food based on two people sharing. The staff were also very good. My pictures aren’t the best but I’m really hoping to visit again soon.

Great restaurant, great location & great staff. The menu is very good, bigger than their other restaurants. Great ambiance and decor is in keeping with the bar. I love all the bars in the Bar44 brand and this one didn’t disappoint
Bar with tapas and the icing on the cake was Spanish dancing and music! A perfect cocktail! A great venue for informal entertainment with friends.
Called in at tea time fairly quiet don’t know why x this place is stunning and the food was excellent x the waiter was very knowledgeable about the food x never been before but can’t wait to go back x many thanks Bar 44
