A short stroll down from the historic Clifton Suspension Bridge and you'll find Bar Chocolat on The Mall at the heart of Clifton Village. Where better to meet up with friends and relax for a while with something from our classic cafe menu than in our cosy, unique atmosphere? We are a family business and pride ourselves on good-old-fashioned quality service to make each and every visit a pleasure. Staff were blunt and not very friendly, however the coffee we had was very nice. There are lots of other cafe’s in Clifton so would not return here.
Walked past here on my way to the famous Bristol Clifton Suspension Bridge so stopped for espresso & ice cream on the way back to hotel. Comfy seat by the door. Nicely served espresso with their special chocolate topping. Ice cream cones look spectacular.
Came here as a reccomendation from a close friend and the white hot chocolate is the best I’ve ever had, not too sweet but not at all bitter- defintely worth the price and the building itself is cosy and warm!
This place does vegan food and drink and although I am not a veggie i loved it. Blue coffee??? Great breads and juices etc Nice young vibrant people. If I lived here I would use it every day!!
Great place, friendly staff. Sweet and salty options. The tuna and cheese sandwich was great I got a yummy salad on the side.
Yeah, it was OK, the home made chocs looked great, but we didn’t really have time to do anything than have a coffee. Service was great, coffee was a little weak, even by my weak standards.
