Just next door to the Sands Hotel but with no apparent affiliation, the B&O is a seafood dominated restaurant and bar. High quality food and good service set this apart from standard gastropubs. We enjoyed our meal here a lot.
A random booking with no previous knowledge but turned out well. Mainly seafood but other options available. We had the fish and chips and the monkfish curry, both excellent. Decent service and price, would go back if in Margate again.
Only a limited menu as in between Xmas and new year but good atmosphere and Lauren the waitress was absolutely superb and made our night. King prawns were great as was chapel down wine
Went to the Boy and Oyster well the oysters were very fresh and Local ,. we had a plate of oysters with a splash of Chilly well it went down really well ,.,. nice to go we friends .
The restaurant main entrance is a walk off the sea front but easy to locate. Service is fast, friendly. Food is excellent and value for money. I highly recommend the oyster and white bait starters, they leave you wanting for more.
