With stunning, polished marble floors, soaring 12 foot windows and a sea view balcony, we believe that The Orangery restaurant is the finest dining venue in Thanet. Set beside Smiths Court Hotel, the bay windows have a great view across the bandstand and Oval lawns, and out over the sea. Our chefs are committed to using fresh, local meat, fish and vegetables - no wonder we are a member of Produced in Kent. We run an la carte menu alongside a set-price table dhote every evening, and these menus are redesigned in line with seasonality. The table dhote menu is also offered for lunch, alongside bar snacks and sandwiches. Finally, we offer our famous Sunday carvery from 12pm to 3pm every Sunday. If youre looking to cater for more people for a special occasion, we can provide excellent bespoke menus and service for all types of functions. Birthday parties, anniversaries, christenings and weddings are all available, and The Orangery is also licensed to conduct civil wedding ceremonies.
