Cappucina Cafe is a new business with a focus on Vietnamese specialities like Banh mi, Pho, Bun Cha and Rice dishes. The Vietnamese cuisine is well respected for being healthy, nutritious and full of flavour. This is now available for the first time in Reading! The Banh Mi is a Vietnamese Baguette which contains barbecue pork and a vietnamese salad. This baguette really comes alive when you add hot chilli sauce and a hint of soy sauce! Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, flat rice noodles,herbs, and meat. It is a popular street food in Vietnam and around the world. Pho is primarily served with either beef or chicken. There are also traditional English Breakfast meals available and there is always a good value lunch menu. Portuguese Coffee is served here which has a very unique smooth flavour. The Coffee is wonderful accompanied by the Portuguese custard tarts which are a speciality of the Cafe. There is a full range of pastries and cakes available and a full range of hot and cold drinks. Vietnamese Drip Coffee is also on offer which is a delicious combination of dripped filtered coffee and a layer of condensed milk.
