Opened Autumn 2014, RYND Bar & Kitchen is situated on Castle Street in Reading and housed in a 19th Century Grade II listed building. The industrial decor has been designed around the beautiful character features of the building. Large round headed windows in arched recesses provide plenty of natural light. Exposed brickwork and reclaimed timber walls feature throughout, with handmade oak and steel tables. Distressed light fittings illuminate with Edison bulbs providing warmth, working well with custom designed neon artwork features. Welcoming guests daily from midday, RYND offers a relaxed space with a focus on social interaction. Our friendly team offer freshly made cocktails and deep south food. The food menu is a meat lovers dream featuring homemade burgers, juicy dogs, ribs, wings, brisket, pulled pork and a lot more. Our mixology team have created a delicious menu of premium cocktails, using fresh fruit and great liquor. Seasonal cocktails change throughout the year, as do the small batch craft beers and hand-picked wines. Vegetarian dishes, virgin cocktails, fresh juices are available throughout the day and the food menu is also available in takeaway for those pressed for time. RYND gathers pace as the day goes on changing from a busy lunch into an after work happy hour. As RYND becomes a late night cocktail bar the soundtrack varies between customer requests, DJ's and live music depending on the night of the week. Free wifi is provided throughout and guests are encouraged to engage with the music system and submit track requests via an app. We love to meet. We love meat.
