About
The journey of Tibbs Frankie began in 1969 when our patriarch Amarjit Singh Tibb was returning home to India after studying in London. En route he stopped off in Beirut Lebanon where witnessed the sale of Pita Breads filled with a variety of fillings. On his return home to Mumbai the idea of adapting the snack to cater for the Indian palette fascinated him so much that he abandoned his career as a chemist. With the help of his wife Surinder Kaur Tibb he experimented with the wrap and choice of fillings and masala and came up with the name Frankie. Tibbs Frankie is now sold thoughout India with a recent launch in Dubai and now London The legacy of Tibbs Frankie is now in the capable hands of the next generation who continue to retain the strong ethos of the founders and are spear heading the growth of the company globally to enable everyone everywhere to taste Tibbs Frankie
