We stumbled upon this local in the heart of Bouth village .Very friendly .Thoroughly enjoy it .The fire was blazing ,plenty of good old ales and the food was excellent .To top it all a great old steam roller dropped by !
If I could eat here every day I would, this is the nicest food I have ever had from a traditional pub- all freshly cooked with high quality ingredients.
Dog-friendly, warm, comfortable pub with bags of character. Excellent beeers and wine list and great food – check out the specials board
Not the cheapest, but superb and quirky – rabbit and black pudding pie excellent. Lovely breakfasts – choice of full English or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, tried both, couldn’t fault them.
We had a delicious Sunday lunch here today. Roast lamb and toast beef with lots of great vegetables. Desserts were so great. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. We will be back.
