Historic gem of a restaurant located by lock 73 of the Trent & Mersey canal and at the rear of Shugborough Estate, Essex Bridge entrance. We serve home made traditional English cuisine with daily roast meals pies and delicious quiches as well as home made cakes, scones and puddings. Choice of up to 6 daily specials available. Dogs are very welcome in our Barn and waterside gardens or if you want a more formal experience then please try our 53 seat restaurant which has waitress service.
