Had the mixed kebab, best lamb I have had in a long time, tender and full of flavour. Also had the hot mezzas, the calamari, aubergine melt in your mouth. You have to come eat here. Staff super friendly and professional.. high end food and service without the high price tag. Hallam, and Harriette served us.. so impressed
Terrible. Absolute dreadful Tried this three times in the hope it would improve , each visit they appear to have run out of key items on the menu , rude staff , the manager has absolutely no idea what the meaning of customer service is , food of a poor standard and overpriced , no atmosphere in here whatsoever

Sunday 25th January 2015. 7-30pm we had a table booked for 4 people.Having been told since re-opening it was a disappointment, we thought we would go and see for ourselves.WELL !!!!!!!!Table service awfulNo Ceasar saladHad to ask for wine to be openedOrdered fillet steak , actually received sirloin ,asked for medium rare GOT well done. Complained, got told would be charged for sirloin not fillet. Asked for vanilla ice-cream GUESS WHAT like the salad they had noneBy then had had enough asked for bill and GUESS WHAT the sirloin steak was still a fillet and was charged for as such. WE WILL NOT GO BACK- WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND- A DREADFUL EXPERIANCE.
Mr Paul Noakes. I would just like to say that i take my family here on a regular basis, and have always had a very friendly welcome and very friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and they are very family friendly. we have been here for valentines, easter, mothers and fathers day and last year for christmas.The attention to little details is wonderful from roses, to little boxes of chocolates, little chocolate eggs and christmas bags for the kids on these speical events, makes the whole expeierance great.the staff will always try there hardest to help and accomadate you as much as possible.we love it, keep up the good work.
Amazing!. My family and I regularly eat at the Coney and have had a fantastic meal every time. The hot rocks are a family favourite and are very original and fun! I could not disagree more with the review below the pizzas are absolutely delicious and are much more substantial than pizza express pizza’s so there really is no comparison! The staff have always been more than friendly. I know most of the staff at the Coney now and am almost certain that Gavin and Gemma are not staff so not really sure where this came from. Definitely try it out.. you will not be disappointed!
Smart and tidy, but let down by small portions, soggy chips and lack of attention to detail. Might try again, but plenty better for the same money
Recently under new management and completely refurbished The Coney has brought a new buzz to the area. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The quality of the food and range of dishes are fantastic and with their signiture hot rock dishes this makes this reastaurant a must go for something different in an area full of restaurants.
