Review. I went into this bar, having been in may times before to enjoy a drink with my brother, wife and family prior to Christmas. I knew in advance that you are unable to reserve tables so turned up anyway.After taking a table in the courtyard as table inside became free and so we went to take it only to be told that there was a queue for the table and that we could not take it and subsequently lot out table outside. When questioned on the queue and pointing out that the policy is not to be able to book a table the we were told that it was ‘ in the manager’s head’. I do not consider this to be a professional way to run a business and will not go back there again

Overpriced. This is a quaint little bar, but it is seriously overpriced on drinks. There is not enough staff on and the manager has a serious arrogant attitude. You will pay twice the price for drinks here then anywhere else in congleton and the ambience of the bar is not great either , way to small .
