Food always cooked fresh fish is so white and the batter is never greasy the chips are hot crispy and fluffy in the middle, only draw back over the years the prices have risen a bit more than other chippys but is always busy.
Sorry to say Cod Above has now closed. We used it several times and will miss them. Thank you and best wishes for your future.
Large portions, cooked to order, good value and good service.Recommend this as a must, not just any fish and chip shop
The food was terrible even for the price which was only the half of it the staff where very unfriendly and ignorant wish i’d have gone back in to St Merryn to the Chinese
We don’t know what the two previous reviewers were on but this is truly terrible. To use frozen fish when you are this close to the sea is criminal. We would willingly pay twice for what you get in Padstow.
