Food, setting and service are the cornerstones of a good restaurant and Wear Park Restaurant at Exeter Golf and Country Club ticks each box comfortably. Our restaurant and bar overlook the putting green and golf course with outdoor seating on the terrace and patio. The restaurant is on the ground floor of our historic Georgian manor house with floor to ceiling sash windows, chandeliers and ornate features. The atmosphere is one of relaxed elegance and we welcome everyone, with open doors! You don't have to be a member of the club to enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks in Wear Park Restaurant - although you can enjoy a discount if you are. Our team of chefs (previously of Harry's Grill Bar fame) is headed up by Adam Little, who took on the mighty Michael Caines in a cook off competition at the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink in 2014...and won. Come along and see for yourself how his seasonal concoctions of the freshest, local ingredients wow diners from light lunches with colleagues and clients to dinners with friends or family. Our afternoon teas are sensational...when washed down with a chilled Prosecco looking out across perfectly manicured greens, we believe they are the best in the city. Sunday lunches are an English tradition and ours have always been pretty damn good. However, we want to offer more than that and so we have a pianist performing live each Sunday at our Piano Sunday Lunches with acclaimed pianist Matt Carter.
